Home and Surroundings
During the month of November, Year 1 focused on listening, writing, reading, conversing, enhancing vocabulary, and completing a project about home and surroundings.
For the project, students worked in small groups to discuss and design their ideal neighborhood. Afterwards, they presented their final plan to the class.
Some happy neighborhoods proposals included: communities on Mars, a “Teen Hood”, an influencer’s paradise, a Star Wars inspired abode and an American-style open-plan villa.
